Uncork Your Best Life In the Heart of the Rogue Valley

When it comes to selecting a place to hang your hat, there’s an old adage that says the most important thing to consider is location, location, location. Good thing the scenic Rogue Valley checks all the boxes — and The Vineyards at Stage Pass goes a few steps further, giving you a gorgeous and secluded way to drink in the natural view.

There’s the great outdoors — and then there’s the Rogue Valley

True, the Rogue Valley is the most fertile ground for some of Oregon’s premier wines. But that’s just the beginning. It’s also well-known (and well-loved) for everything from theater, music and art to fishing, hiking, golfing, skiing and rafting. Where else can you take an adrenaline-pumping jet boat ride down the roaring Rogue River through Hellgate Canyon, then kick back and relax with an under-the-stars performance at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival — all in the same day. This is an outdoor lover’s paradise!

All the comforts of home

Today’s urban sophisticate has come to expect certain civic conveniences, and the cities around The Vineyards at Stage Pass deliver. Even though it feels like you’re worlds away, you’re never far from a quick trip to the nearest bank, library, drug store or post office. With small towns and larger cities, you get the best of both worlds. Jacksonville has an everyone-knows-your-name population of just under 3,000. Medford, the largest city in the region, has a population of more than 80,000 people, while the neighboring towns of Ashland and Central Point add another 40,000 to the mix. Grocery stores and gyms are right around the corner. Hair salons and hardware stores are just down the street. Not to mention clothing boutiques, movie theaters, nurseries and more. It’s where big box stores and weekly farmer’s markets live side-by-side in harmony. And strangers quickly become friends.

Award-Winning Care

Asante has been named one of Watson Health’s 15 Top Health Systems in the Nation for eight consecutive years. (The only other health system with that status? The Mayo Clinic.) Watson Health is an IBM program measuring hospital performance and leadership for thousands of U.S. providers. All three area Asante hospitals have received the CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) five-star quality rating. And Asante was named as one of the Top 100 Hospitals in the Nation in Overall Hospital Care for Medical Excellence in the 2020 CareChex Awards by Quantros, an objective quality review of hospitals and health systems across the nation.

World-class health care in a small-town package

When settling in a new area, having access to top-quality health care is a major consideration. The Rogue Valley is home to two highly ranked health care systems — Asante and Providence.

Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center is a local, community-owned, not-for-profit organization that serves as a regional referral and trauma center featuring the latest medical technology and clinical expertise. Key programs and services include nationally recognized heart and stroke care, orthopedics, cancer care, diabetes care, neurology and neurosurgery, bariatric surgery, rehabilitation services, neonatal intensive care, home care and hospice services. Asante’s regional network also includes Asante Ashland Community Hospital, Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass, three urgent care clinics, and dozens of medical group clinics, diagnostic locations and labs.

And construction is now underway for a new one stop regional center that will house all outpatient cancer services — including lab tests, imaging, radiation, chemotherapy, doctor consultations and other services. The new center will also have the latest radiation oncology technology and treatment modalities. The building is scheduled to open in the fall of 2021.

Providence Medford Medical Center is a full-service acute care, not-for-profit community hospital. Key programs and services include emergency services, stroke care, cardiac and vascular care, joint replacement, women’s services, birth center, pediatrics, cancer center, pain management, and one of the most comprehensive rehabilitation programs in the region. In addition to the hospital, more than a dozen medical group clinics are conveniently located throughout the area.
